Façade glazing covers the glazed envelope of commercial and residential buildings: ground-floor shopfronts, multi-storey curtain walls, atria and stair cores. The glass can be toughened, laminated or built into an insulated unit, depending on where it sits in the façade and what safety level that position requires.
Before ordering, the wind and snow loads for the site, the fixing method to the concrete or steel structure, the required thermal performance and the drainage path inside the profiles all have to be settled. The buyer decides the system type — capped, structural or semi-structural — the level of solar control and the aluminium finish. We survey, fabricate and install with our own crews.
